Job Summary:
Mapjects is a leading centralized logistics operations portal platform, serving federal organizations. They are seeking a Software Applications Engineer to develop and advise on software applications for mobile computing solutions using Microsoft Windows CE.NET and Windows Mobile.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the mobile computing business solutions and support existing relationships.
• Advise and develop software applications for customers using Microsoft Windows CE.NET and Windows Mobile and the operations of the products in customer installations and on wireless networks.
• Work on application software development teams to support development for mobile computing platform(s).
• Assist in mobile frameworks tools selection.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience with commercial Android or Microsoft Windows application development/support experience with C, Microsoft C++, C# and or VB.NET.
• Experience with developing applications for portable OS systems - such as Pocket PC or CE.NET Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of implementing component based and OOD/object oriented design concepts.
Preferred:
• Experience implementing Internet based technologies such as JAVA, ASP, SOAP and HTML/XML is desired.
