Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

Full-Time Logistician, developing accurate Logistics Assessment Data

Package services in support of Waterfront Logistics Assessments.

Position Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree and 4 - 6 years of logistics / Data package building experience or no degree

and 6 -8 years of experience.

• Able to gather raw data from multiple sources, validating for accuracy and consistency, and

ensuring configuration status and logistics support data for ships is current and reliable.

• Perform detailed research and validation using approved data sources and coordinate with SMEs

and government personnel to ensure compliance with mission objectives, security, and

confidentiality requirements.

• Design and deliver data queries, database structures, data guides, and graphical user interfaces

(GUIs) using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and programming languages (SQL,

VBA). These tools will support complex logistics data analysis and reporting.

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in Microsoft Project to track logistics and

ship-related activities, ensuring alignment with operational goals.

• The contractor may be required to travel to ships in support of logistics assessments to

observe, verify, and document assigned tasks and validate final outcomes.

• Track reconfigurations, baselines and data management.

• Able to interface with Project Engineers, LogReps, Engineers, Technicians and

Logisticians.

• Must have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).

• Have a valid driver’s license with own transportation.

• Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance.

• Must be punctual, attention to detail, and take good notes.

• Must be able to work under minimal supervision, perform and complete tasks with limited

guidance.

• Able to follow company policies and procedures.

• Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.

Preferred Skills:

• Navy Logistics School and previous NAVSEA CM/Logistics experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to travel if/when required.
