HX5 is currently seeking an Acquisition Logistician to join our team at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia, in support of the Mobility and Training Aircraft Program Office
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • This position supports the Mobility and Training Aircraft Program Office and will:
  • Coordinate all logistics elements including but not limited to spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the directorate's needs.
  • Perform as key participants in developing long term weapon system supportability approaches that further the Government's acquisition strategy goals and objectives.
  • Obtain needed logistics resources and participate in site surveys and program reviews.
  • Perform analyses of sustainment or related Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues and recommend suitable replacements.
  • Provide support to accomplish the generation and review of logistics support documentation that includes the following: Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Technical Orders (TOs), technical manuals, electronic technical manuals, illustrated parts breakdowns, and work specifications to ensure the documentation meets Government logistics support requirements.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of DoD acquisition processes.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree, fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, and five (5) years of DoD experience.
  • Master's degree, twelve (12) years of relevant experience, and three (3) years of DoD experience

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements:
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
  • Must be able to travel, including air travel.
