Job description

What you will do

The Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for managing warehouse and logistics processes and personnel to support Customer delivery targets and Inventory metrics and implementing processes that improve operating efficiencies and reduce cost within plant and logistics costs. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

How you will do it

Warehousing:

  • Manage the storage and movement of materials within a facility.

  • Responsible to ensure all warehouse operations have proper material handling equipment and resources to complete tasks on schedule and safely.

  • Plan and manage warehouse space utilization.

  • Maintain raw material and (where applicable) finished goods inventories.

  • Manage material flow within the facility.

  • Support cycle count program to ensure accurate inventory balances.

Receiving:

  • Unload deliveries to the facility.

  • Ensure proper quality of materials prior to receipt into ERP.

  • Ensure received materials match the purchase order.

Shipping:

  • Plan, coordinate and manage the daily shipping and distribution plan.

  • Load trucks and schedules leaving the facility.

  • Manage palletization and packaging operations.

Logistics:

  • Ensure utilization for approved carrier list according approved Routing instructions.

  • Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) or approved carriers for product leaving the facility.

  • Ensure key JCMS material processes for Transportation execution are implemented, and operating daily

  • Follow import-export regulation and paperwork requirements.

  • Maintains effective working relationship and communication with all departments.

  • Operates within budget and contributes to the overall reduction of overhead and expenses.

  • Responsible for leading projects related to Continuous Improvement and Cost reduction efforts in accordance with Plant Management goals.

What we look for

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one (1) year of warehouse management, shipping or logistics experience OR Associate's degree and a minimum of (six) years of warehouse management, shipping or logistics experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.

  • Extended MRP and/or ERP experience.

  • Intermediate proficiency using MS Office Suite.

  • Willing to be hands-on on the shop floor.

  • Solid leadership skills.

  • Where legally permissible, if hired, candidate is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 no later than his/her start date, unless candidate has a valid medical condition or sincerely held religious belief precluding he/she from receiving the vaccine.

Preferred:

  • Experience with warehouse management and distribution systems, transportation management systems (TMS) and managing customs compliance.

  • APICS CPIM or CLTD certification.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $76,000-105,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, andabilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
