Job description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to apply your expertise in psychological assessment, special education compliance, and student support – all while working alongside a passionate educational team.

Qualified candidates will possess a Michigan School Psychologist Certification, either fully approved or temporary. Utilize your specialized training and desire to help students thrive as you perform essential psychological assessments and interventions.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Michigan School Psychologist Certification (fully approved or temporary)
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations within school settings
  • Solid understanding of special education law, including MARSE and IDEA guidelines
  • Proficiency with test administration, data interpretation, and compliance reporting
  • Strong skills in collaborative teamwork with educators, support staff, and families
  • Familiarity supporting MTSS, PBIS, and IEP processes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, ensuring all procedures meet MARSE and IDEA compliance
  • Administer and interpret a range of standardized and informal assessments to determine students’ needs and eligibility for services
  • Contribute to IEP meetings, supporting the development of effective, data-driven goals, accommodations, and behavior plans
  • Deliver timely, clear, and compliant evaluation reports
  • Offer consultative and direct psychological services to students as needed
  • Actively participate in MTSS and PBIS initiatives, helping with data-based decision making to improve student outcomes
