Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Global Logistics Analyst who will be responsible for managing and coordinating international sales orders, ensuring efficient logistics operations, and providing exceptional support to our customers, global origin offices, and sales team. This role requires strong attention to detail, a logistics background, and ability to handle ambiguity.

 What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

 

Sales Order Management:

  • Process and manage international sales orders from receipt to delivery.
  • Coordinate with sales, customers, and shipping departments to ensure timely order and shipment fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales orders, shipments, and inventory levels.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Arrange and monitor international shipments, ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customers brokers, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth transportation of goods.
  • Track and report on shipment status, resolving any issues that arise during transit.

Customer Support:

  • Provide excellent customer service to international clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding order status, shipping details, and delivery schedules.
  • Assist in preparing and processing documentation, including invoices and shipping documents.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain and update sales and shipping systems with accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor and oversee inventory, sales orders, and logistics.
  • Support the sales and origin teams with administrative tasks as needed.

Analytical Support:

  • Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports that provide accurate and timely information to support Sales Administration and business decisions.
  • Coordinate with the group Vice President and Directors on reporting and enhancement projects.
  • Analyze sales, order, shipment, inventory, and related operational data to identify trends, exceptions, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Coordinate with Sales Analysis & Planning to align reporting requirements, data definitions, and analytical priorities.
  • Liaise with IT to identify, test, and implement system and reporting enhancements that improve data accuracy, visibility, and efficiency.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Logistics. Previous sales administration or a detail-oriented background.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping and coordination.
  • Comfortability working between sales, customers, and logistics providers.
  • Ability to navigate complicated tasks and exhibit good judgement and decision making.
  • Ability to handle unfamiliar situations that require problem solving.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Process improvement mindset.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and also on an independent basis.
