Global Channel Management is a technology company that specializes in various types of recruiting and staff augmentation.  Our account managers and recruiters have over a decade of experience in various verticals. GCM understands the challenges companies face when it comes to the skills and experience needed to fill the void of the day to day function.  Organizations need to reduce training and labor costs but at same requiring the best "talent " for the job. 


Qualifications

Logistics Analyst  needs bachelor's degree in Logistics (Supply Chain) or business (or at least 3 years progress toward such degree) with 3-5 years of experience in a Logistics environment with focus on operational oversight with no degree.


Logistics Analyst  requires:

  • extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and working in various on-line data applications.
  • strong data manipulation skills
  • Knowledge of A3 Thinking process (LEAN initiatives) is a bonus.
  • Good English, Spanish a plus
  • SAP, TMS

Logistics Analyst duties are:

  • Assist
    with customer complaint investigations and resolutions. Analyze
    shipment data to create freight cost savings projects. Assist with
    freight invoicing process - problem resolution.
  • Perform daily shipment updates (TMS) for assigned shipping sites
  • Perform shipment tracking as necessary
  • Perform analysis on current logistics activities
