Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Sr Digital Business Analyst - Logistics. The Sr Digital Business Analyst - Logistics will work directly with logistics business leaders, business users, and Digital teammates to plan, define, design, specify, test, train, implement, and support logistics related business processes, systems and integrations across our Oracle EBS landscape. You will need a strong background in Oracle EBS and logistics business objectives and processes to be successful in this role. Daikin Applied is on Oracle E-Business Suite version 12.2.12 running on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. What you will do:
  • Serve as a leader across our Oracle EBS landscape to drive application improvements within the distribution and logistics functional areas
  • Lead configuration, implementation and support of Oracle EBS changes within the Inventory, Order Management, and Warehouse Management modules
  • Provide subject matter expertise within distribution and logistics areas for business customers and technical resources. Establishes awareness of business process and technology solution best practices within a specific business segment
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex manufacturing data or processes to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to propose ERP based process improvement
  • Collaborate and forge a network of beneficial relationships with all levels within Digital organizations and the customers of Digital to establish mutual trust and provide a foundation for high level project partnership. Initiates and develops working relationships with internal groups
  • Investigate issues with manufacturing applications, conducting root cause analysis, and aligning resources to correct issues
  • Develop and document solution design alternatives, and then lead a group through the collaborative process of finalizing recommendations and documenting proposals
  • Define project requirements to the degree required to gain business support, funding, and necessary resources
  • Responsible for leading, as well as participating in cross-functional business projects
  • Estimate high-level project timelines, resource needs, and funding needs by independently gathering documentation, and validating business requirements
  • Clarify and document current-state, future-state, and the gap that exists between the two states
  • Communicate functional requirement/specifications to developer team
  • May mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the team
  • May perform other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years' experience in a manufacturing or corporate business environment
  • 4+ years' experience with Oracle EBS including modules of Order Management, WMS, Inventory
  • Experience with engineered to order manufacturing and warehouse inventory fulfillment & distribution processes
  • Strong background in logistics & transportation business objectives and processes
  • Willing and able to work in an end-user environment, assisting and supporting end users
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and administer business projects
  • Experience gathering, clarifying, quantifying and documenting business project requirements
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree
  • SAP S4/HANA ERP experience
  • 6+ years' experience in a manufacturing or corporate business environment
  • Experience working with TMS applications
  • Experience with integrations between Oracle EBS and external applications
  • Experience with ERP transformative projects
  • Knowledge of SQL or PL/SQL and relevant tools

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $153,300 (+ 10% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
