Job description

Apogee Solutions, a Woman-Owned Small Business, is seeking a Full Time Senior Logistics Analyst to support the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) at Fort Bragg. Qualified candidates must have a TOP SECRET clearance.

The Senior Logistics Analyst will be responsible for supporting logistics analysis and Force Management (FM) in conjunction with The Office of The Chief Army Reserve Force Management (OCAR). OCAR is responsible to fully develop Force Structure requirements, conduct Force Integration of organizational designs and plans, and conduct Force Accounting and Allocation of authorizations to provide the Army Reserve Commanders with a more accessible and readily deployable force. Apogee Solutions supports the FM process through reviews, studies, analysis, assessments, and functional expertise, encompassing conceptual development, capabilities requirements generation, Force Development, Organizational Development, Force Integration Functions, and Force Accounting of resources within the Department of Defense. 

The Senior Logistics Analyst will:

  • Extract and analyze large data sets from multiple automated systems and to provide Business Intelligence portrayals and graphics of data.
  • Generate various forms of data analysis to generate decision making support products.
  • Automate various data analysis processes in cyclic machine learning processes.
  • Use information data sets from automated systems to conduct data analysis actions such as data merging, descriptive analysis, diagnostic analysis, predictive analysis, and prescriptive analysis.

Required Experience:

  • US Citizen with an active DOD TOP SECRET clearance
  • Master’s degree in Data Science with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in planning and analysis OR a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with a minimum of 10 years’ experience
  • Proven ability to extract and analyze data from SAB based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Ability to portray analysis results in PowerPoint, written reports, and briefings
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently, under tight deadlines at times
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High degree of interpersonal competence and initiative to work with a variety of personalities
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
