Job Description
As a Principal IT Analyst within Honeywell's Digital Supply Chain (DSC) / Integrated Supply Chain Systems (ICS) organization, you will operate as a senior individual contributor with deep functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Logistics, specializing in Transportation Management and Warehouse Management.
This role is accountable for independently leading the analysis, design, and delivery of complex logistics solutions that support Honeywell's global ISC operating model. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, exercising judgment in ambiguous problem spaces, and influencing outcomes through technical depth, domain expertise, and collaboration rather than positional authority.
You will report directly to our Sr. Director, IT and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA or Houston, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as a Principal-level functional and solution expert for SAP S/4HANA ICS Logistics solutions, with primary focus on:

o Transportation Management
o Warehouse Management (EWM / embedded EWM)
  • Lead complex logistics problem spaces end-to-end, including solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment for global ISC S/4HANA programs
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support the realization and evolution of standard ISC logistics capabilities, aligned to DSC global design principles and ICS architecture standards
  • Independently partner with ISC business stakeholders to analyze logistics requirements, assess options, and recommend scalable, enterprise-standard solutions
  • Define and govern logistics-related integration touchpoints across ICS domains, including Manufacturing, Order Management, Finance, Trade Compliance, and external logistics partners
  • Configure and enhance SAP S/4HANA logistics solutions while protecting global template integrity and reusability
  • Actively contribute to testing strategy and execution (Unit, SIT, UAT), resolving complex defects and design gaps
  • Provide hands-on support during cutover, go-live, and hypercare, addressing high-severity and cross-domain logistics issues
  • Influence adoption of standardized ISC logistics processes, supporting governance forums, solution reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide technical and functional mentorship to analysts and project team members through guidance, reviews, and knowledge sharing (no direct people management)
  • Stay current on SAP S/4HANA logistics innovations, proactively identifying opportunities to improve solution robustness, performance, and alignment to ISC needs

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 10+ years of SAP experience, with substantial delivery responsibility in ICS / ISC Logistics and Supply Chain environments
  • Extensive, hands-on SAP S/4HANA deployment experience, including multiple full-lifecycle global implementations
  • 7+ years of deep functional experience in Logistics execution, specifically: Transportation Management and/or Warehouse Management
  • Proven ability to independently analyze, design, and deliver complex SAP logistics solutions across enterprise landscapes
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end ISC process flows and cross-functional integration dependencies
  • Demonstrated success operating in a global, matrixed organization, influencing outcomes without formal authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders
