Job description

Leading Freight Forwarder / NVOCC/ Customs House Broker/ Tank Container Operator, with locations in 24 countries and over 3300 employees strong, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Ocean Export Customer Service Representative in our Miami Office.

  • Coordinate shipments with Shippers and Receivers
  • Communicate with customers, staff and vendors
  • Correspond with overseas agents and clients
  • Book cargo
  • Handle AES Transmissions
  • Issue documents such as B/L, Dock Receipt, Booking Order, C.O., etc.
  • Learn to operate in all Leschaco systems
  • Handle the preparation of documents based on Letter of Credit requirements
  • Prepare other documents as required by customer
  • Send Pre-Alerts via email and original docs via international courier when required
  • Invoice files
  • Learn and apply U.S. Government regulations
  • Work with steamship line/trucking companies to obtain quotations and handle the movement of freight
