Job description

Logistics Coordinator

Transportation One is a leading freight brokerage based in Chicago, IL with a national presence and a local office in Louisville, KY! Job Purpose

This is not a remote position. As a Logistics Coordinator you will participate in our extensive training program to become an individual producer on our sales floor. We will teach you about the 3PL industry, help you build a strong network of clients, and provide you with the tools you need to succeed as a salesperson!

Upon completion of the training program, we will give you the opportunity to join one of our two Sales teams based on your personal and professional strengths! Once assigned to a team, you will be responsible for prospecting new clients by networking, cold calling, researching, and building rapport. You will also be responsible for selling and honoring the day-to-day commitments of accounts. You will implement and tailor solutions to increase efficiency, add value, and maximize profitability throughout customers' supply chains.

T1 will give you the resources to provide the highest quality service and ensure that the needs of your clients are met on a daily basis.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree preferred

· Clear and confident communication

· Ability to work in a team environment while also delivering independent results

· Ambitious and enthusiastic attitude

· Outgoing personality and ability to develop client relationships

· Customer Service/Sales experience or Project Management experience preferred

Working Conditions

General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard equipment available.
