Job description

Mount Indie is hiring a Process Engineer who will play a key role in advancing AMARG's (309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group) production efficiency by designing, analyzing, and improving processes that support aircraft preservation, regeneration, and disposal. This position blends technical expertise with mission impact, translating complex engineering standards into practical solutions that enhance safety, quality, and throughput for Air Force operations. This role requires being on-site daily to support at the "Boneyard" on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide engineering services at AMARG including technical advice and expertise on the function of the "production machine". * Advise government leadership on design, analysis, improvement, and monitoring of the production machine including design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to achieve maximal efficiency. * Perform research, analysis, and documentation of industrial processes to produce detailed process instructions (i.e. a process order) that conforms to the standards of AFSCMAN 21-102. * Provide on-the-job training (OJT) to government personnel as requested. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related engineering discipline. * Minimum of three (3) years of engineering experience. * Ability to research, analyze, and document industrial processes in technical detail. * Active Secret Security Clearance.
