About Us
Visionary Eye Institute is a premier ophthalmology and surgical practice dedicated to delivering compassionate, cutting-edge care in a patient-first environment. Were seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Practice Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure the smooth and efficient running of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage day-to-day clinical and administrative operations
  • Supervise front office and back office staff; ensure proper coverage and workflow
  • Oversee scheduling systems, patient flow, and provider efficiency
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and healthcare regulations
  • Support billing, insurance coordination, and surgical scheduling workflows
  • Develop and implement SOPs, improve processes, and maintain high standards of patient care
  • Coordinate with leadership on staffing, performance reviews, and training
  • Serve as liaison between physicians, staff, and external partners
Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience in healthcare or medical practice operations (ophthalmology preferred)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and teams with professionalism
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (NextGen preferred), insurance billing, and scheduling
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards (HIPAA, OSHA, CMS)
  • Detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and a team player
