Payroll Processor
Roseville, CA 95661-9108

  • Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
  • Schedule: Hybrid | 8-5 | 6 months | Full-time, non-exempt, no patient care


Note: MUST be legally authorized to work in the United States.
SUMMARY/DUTIES:

  • Payroll Processor II needed to support the company’s payroll operations on a 6-month hybrid contract assignment in Roseville, CA
  • This role supports payroll processing workflows with a focus on garnishments, tax-related items, compliance deadlines, and accurate transaction handling
  • Responsibilities include reviewing payroll information, processing garnishment and deduction activity, researching discrepancies, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with payroll leadership to ensure timely and correct completion of assigned work
  • The position helps reduce overtime burden, support workload coverage, and minimize legal or compliance risk tied to delayed or inaccurate garnishment processing
  • This is a non-patient-care role within the Finance > Payroll/Expense Reimbursement job family

 
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with payroll processing in a finance, payroll, or expense reimbursement environment
  • Experience with garnishment processing and payroll compliance workflows
  • Experience with payroll tax support, employee deductions, and time-sensitive payroll transactions
  • Ability to process payroll items accurately and within required deadlines
  • Proficiency in reviewing payroll data, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining documentation
  • Ability to support high-volume payroll operations with attention to legal and compliance risk
  • Experience with internal payroll, HR, or workforce management systems
  • Ability to work hybrid from the Roseville, CA location as required

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in a healthcare or large enterprise payroll environment
  • Experience supporting contingent, contract, or limited-term workforce payroll needs
  • Familiarity with Workday, LotusOne, or similar requisition and workforce systems
  • Ability to communicate payroll issues clearly with managers and internal support teams
