Job description

Sinai Hospital's Emergency Department is a newly expanded, 70,000-square-foot Level II Trauma Center built to meet growing community demand. A $50 million expansion doubled the department's footprint and added expanded trauma bays, larger treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art radiology suite, and dedicated behavioral health and pediatric areas for specialized, safe, and efficient care.
Summary:
Performs a variety of clerical duties that provide support to nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the health care team in the Emergency Department. Unified by the core purpose of creating a healthier community one person at a time, the members of the Division of Patient Care Services commit themselves to sustaining a culture focused on achieving optimal patient outcomes. Each employee is obligated to deliver highly reliable care while adhering to all National Patient Safety Goals. This occurs within a learning environment that is supportive and just, where each employee is valued for their contribution to the collective safety of patients, staff and visitors.
