Job description

About impact.com
impact.com is the world's leading commerce partnership marketing platform, transforming the way businesses grow by enabling them to discover, manage, and scale partnerships across the entire customer journey. From affiliates and influencers to content publishers, brand ambassadors, and customer advocates, impact.com empowers brands to drive trusted, performance-based growth through authentic relationships. Its award-winning products—Performance (affiliate), Creator (influencer), and Advocate (customer referral)—unify every type of partner into one integrated platform. As consumers increasingly rely on recommendations from people and communities they trust, impact.com helps brands show up where it matters most. Today, over 5,000 global brands, including Walmart, Uber, Shopify, Lenovo, L'Oréal, and Fanatics, rely on impact.com to power more than 225,000 partnerships that deliver measurable business results.

Your Role at impact.com:

As a Partner Success Manager for Spot Commerce Media, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of publishers activating Spot,  impact.com's contextual commerce ad unit. Spot dynamically serves product ads inline with editorial content.

You will own publisher onboarding and technical activation, performance optimisation and scaling revenue. You will work closely with brand-side colleagues to ensure Spot campaigns are matched to the right publisher inventory, and you will serve as an informed advocate for publishers navigating the evolving commerce media landscape.

The right candidate understands both sides of the transaction, the affiliate and commerce content world publishers operate in, and the programmatic and ad technology environment that Spot sits within. You are confident talking about CPC models, contextual targeting, and inventory quality in the same conversation as EPC, affiliate attribution, and publisher revenue diversification.

What You'll Do:

Onboarding & Activation

  • Lead end-to-end onboarding of new publishers onto Spot, managing technical setup, integration validation, and initial campaign activation
  • Coordinate with publishers' technical and editorial teams to ensure Spot is correctly implemented and contextual matching is working as intended
  • Manage onboarding tasks, tickets, and timelines, liaising with the development team on any custom integration requirements
  • Produce clear, concise onboarding documentation and briefing materials tailored to each publisher's content and commercial context
  • Work closely with other Publisher Success Managers to provide publishers with a seamless onboarding and aftercare experience.

Growth & Performance Optimisation

  • Monitor publisher performance across key metrics, CPC delivery, fill rate, click-through rate, and revenue, and proactively identify optimisation opportunities
  • Work with publishers to expand Spot coverage across their content inventory, identifying high-intent pages and editorial verticals where contextual ad placement will perform
  • Collaborate with brand-side teams to ensure relevant, active CPC campaigns are matched to appropriate publisher inventory
  • Develop and present regular performance reviews to publishers, translating data into clear commercial recommendations
  • Support publishers in making the case internally for Spot as a zero-resource, CPC-based revenue layer alongside their existing affiliate and display revenue

Scaling & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to scale Spot revenue across publisher portfolios without adding manual operational overhead, leveraging the platform's automated campaign management capabilities
  • Work with senior colleagues to develop scalable playbooks for publisher onboarding, optimisation, and growth that can be applied across the full publisher portfolio
  • Support the transition of publishers currently relying on manual link management onto Spot's automated model, demonstrating the operational and revenue benefits

Client Relationship & Support

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of Spot publishers, maintaining strong relationships and high satisfaction
  • Conduct regular client meetings, health checks, and strategic reviews, collating feedback and ensuring actions are followed through
  • Troubleshoot and resolve publisher issues promptly, escalating to technical teams where required and managing resolution timelines
  • Act as a knowledgeable commercial partner for publishers navigating attribution conversations with brands, positioning Spot's CPC model as a complement to existing performance structures

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the brand-side Partner Success and Sales teams to align publisher inventory with active brand CPC campaigns
  • Feed publisher insights and product feedback into the product and development teams to inform the Spot roadmap
  • Collaborate with the wider Publisher Success team on cross-product opportunities, including Trackonomics and Pressboard, where publishers would benefit from a broader impact.com relationship

What You Bring:

Publisher & Affiliate Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the affiliate and commerce content publisher landscape, how publishers monetise content, the affiliate networks they operate on, and the commercial models they work with (CPA, CPC, flat fee, hybrid)
  • Familiarity with key affiliate metrics: EPC, AOV, conversion rate, cookie window, last-click attribution and its limitations
  • Awareness of the publisher pressures driving commerce diversification, including Google AI Overview impact on organic traffic, Amazon commission volatility, and the shift toward multi-retailer affiliate strategies

Ad Technology & Programmatic Literacy

  • Working knowledge of ad technology fundamentals: CPC/CPM models, contextual targeting, fill rates, ad serving, and inventory quality
  • Ability to hold confident conversations with publisher ad operations and programmatic teams about how Spot sits alongside display and programmatic revenue
  • Understanding of how contextual commerce ads differ from traditional programmatic display — particularly the zero-publisher-resource operating model of Spot

Client Success & Commercial Skills

  • 3+ years of customer success, account management, or partner success experience, ideally in affiliate marketing, ad technology, or digital media
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients across onboarding, performance delivery, and growth — with measurable commercial outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills — comfortable working with performance data, building reporting summaries, and translating numbers into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage confidently with editorial, technical, and commercial stakeholders at publisher organisations
  • Ability to prioritise effectively across a varied portfolio, identifying risk early and managing competing demands without losing quality
  • Keen attention to detail, strong organisational discipline, and the ability to drive projects to completion across multiple workstreams

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Direct experience working with or selling into digital publishers — particularly content commerce, lifestyle, tech, or deal/coupon publishers
  • Familiarity with retail media concepts: CPC campaigns, sponsored product formats, contextual ad placement, and how brands use retail media alongside affiliate
  • Experience with impact.com's platform or Trackonomics
  • Knowledge of publisher revenue diversification strategies — including sub-affiliate management, creator/influencer programmes, and first-party data initiatives
  • Experience working with programmatic platforms (Google Ad Manager, header bidding, DSPs/SSPs) at a working rather than expert level
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Why This Role is Exciting

Spot Commerce Media is one of impact.com's newest and most strategically significant products — a contextual commerce ad unit that sits at the intersection of affiliate, programmatic, and retail media. This role gives you the opportunity to work at the frontier of how publisher monetisation is evolving, with a product that directly addresses the biggest challenges publishers face today: content that earns passively, campaigns that require no manual maintenance, and a CPC revenue model that rewards influence rather than just last-click conversion.

You will work with some of the most commercially sophisticated publishers in the market — from global lifestyle and tech titles to specialist content brands — helping them unlock a revenue layer they cannot build without Spot. You will operate in a cross-functional environment spanning affiliate, ad tech, and brand partnerships, giving you an unusually broad view of the commerce media landscape.

impact.com offers a flexible, international working environment with genuine opportunity for growth. This is a role where your publisher relationships, commercial instincts, and product knowledge will directly shape how Spot scales.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 per year, plus an additional 10% target commission plan tied to GTV milestones ($10,000-$11,000) and generous stock (RSU) award.

*This is the pay range the Company believes is equitable for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.

Benefits and Perks:

At impact.com, we believe that when you're happy and fulfilled, you do your best work. That's why we've built a benefits package that supports your well-being, growth, and work-life balance.

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • Office-only catered lunch every Thursday, a healthy snack bar, and great coffee to keep you fueled

  • A Stake in Our Growth: We offer Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) as part of our total compensation, giving you a stake in the company's growth with a 3-year vesting schedule, pending Board approval.

  • Parental Support: We offer a generous parental leave policy, 26 weeks of fully paid leave for the primary caregiver and 13 weeks fully paid leave for the secondary caregiver.
  • Technology Financial Support: We provide a technology stipend to help you set up your home office and a monthly allowance to cover your internet expenses.
