About the Role
Dedicated School Staffing is seeking organized, friendly, and dependable Substitute School Secretaries to support school office operations when regular staff are absent. This role is essential in maintaining smooth daily operations, assisting students, families, and staff, and ensuring the front office remains a welcoming and efficient hub of the school.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist students, families, staff, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer phones, direct calls, and relay messages promptly
  • Assist with attendance reporting, student check-ins/outs, and daily office procedures
  • Perform general clerical duties such as filing, copying, data entry, and organizing documents
  • Support staff with scheduling, communication, and distribution of information
  • Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information
  • Follow district policies, safety procedures, and office protocols
  • Provide support during emergencies, drills, or unexpected situations
