Mother/Baby Unit Patient Population: Mother-Baby with occasional GYN surgery patients Patient Ratios: 1:3 couplets (1:6) Number of Beds: 20 beds (can expand up to 25) Department Specifics: >90% BSN rate, >35% certification rate, 96% for Press Ganey HCSHPS customer satisfaction, active Unit partnership council, IBCLC lactation support 7 days a week, Texas 10 steps certified, On-site OB-GYN, hospitalists, and Neonatology (MD or NNP) 24/7.
