Registered Nurse - Mother Baby Unit

This position offers a 12-hour day shift schedule with varying hours from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Mother Baby Unit, which consists of a 40-bed setup in a facility with approximately 4,000 deliveries annually. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns, ensuring a family-centered approach to health care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for mothers and newborns.
  • Implement and maintain family-centered care principles.
  • Monitor and assess maternal and infant health conditions.
  • Educate families on newborn care and breastfeeding.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Mother Baby Unit or related specialty.
  • Valid AHA BLS and NRP certifications are required.
Holiday Expectations

Candidates must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve).
