Job description

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc.(www.Epsilonsystems.com) is seeking a part time Desktop Support Support Intern, to join our team on site at our Corporate Office in San Diego CA.
Summary: The Desktop Support Intern provides first-level technical support for software, hardware, and network-related issues by diagnosing problems and guiding users through step-by-step solutions. The Help Desk Intern will assist with the day-to-day tickets and support of on-site and remote users in the Corporate location. Will be responsible for break/fix tickets, desktop and desk side support tickets, as well as other duties as assigned. This position is budgeted for a minimum of 24 (Twenty Four) working hours in the office each week, and a maximum of 30 (Thirty) hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs troubleshooting of desktops and laptops as well as mobile devices.
  • Participates problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations.
  • Responsible for learning and supporting IT related tasks for New Hire Orientation.
  • Perform minor desktop and laptop hardware repairs for equipment not covered under vendor maintenance agreements.
  • Support and troubleshoot conference room technologies to ensure reliable functionality.
  • Assist with project directions and schedules to maximize benefits and minimize impacts on the customer organizations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an Associates or Bachelor's degree program in IT related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and December 2027.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • Foundational knowledge in Networking.
  • Foundational knowledge in PC Components.
  • PC troubleshooting Skills.
  • Printer Troubleshooting Skills.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is $20 - $22 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
