Medical Assistant (Part-Time)

Active Foot & Ankle Specialists

Part-Time | Back Office Role

Position Overview

Active Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a part-time team member who is cross trained in both front office and clinical responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone flexible, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced podiatry practice.

This individual will support both administrative and clinical functions to ensure seamless patient care and office operations.

Additional hours may be available as business needs evolve.

Back Office / Clinical Responsibilities:

Room patients and document chief complaints

Obtain and record vitalsAssist provider with procedures

Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments

Administer injections (if certified)

Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control standards

Qualifications

Medical Assistant certification preferred (RMA/CMA) or relevant clinical experience

Prior medical receptionist experience strongly preferred

Strong multitasking and organizational skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to travel to other nearby locations if needed

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Manual dexterity for clinical procedures
