Job description

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.

We currently have an opening for a Part-Time Back Office Medical Assistant in the city of Upland. Experience in Cardiology preferred.

Job Type: Part-time, Direct Hire

Pay: $23-25 per hour

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

BACK-OFFICE DUTIES:

The Medical Assistant provides comprehensive back-office support in a fast-paced cardiology clinic, ensuring efficient clinical operations and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining exam rooms, obtaining patient vital signs and medical histories, performing and documenting EKGs, and assisting providers with examinations, diagnostic testing, and in-office procedures. The Medical Assistant also administers medications and injections as ordered, collects and processes laboratory specimens, collaborates with front office staff to ensure efficient patient flow, maintains patient confidentiality, and performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum 1 years' MA experience, required
  • Experience in Cardiology, preferred
  • Bilingual Required
  • MA Certified
  • CPR Certified
