Patient Office Associate

The Patient Office Associate provides front and back office secretarial, clerical and billing support functions for the assigned Department/Unit and the TBHC Physician Pavilion as needed

High School Graduate or GED

Associate Degree --HIGHLY PREFERRED

Three (3) years in a medical office setting

Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/CPT coding, billing and office procedures

Excellent organizational and follow up skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities

Familiarity with medical terminology and health insurance

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with health and business professionals

The ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and adhere to specific time frames

Strong written and oral communication skills
