Job Description
The Customer Order Administrator is a support role for the Intertrade Sales Team. The Order Administrator is the principal customer contact for all sales orders and tertiary support functions for the sales team. The Customer Order Administrator performs a variety of simple to complex sales order entry and order administration support activities for the sales team. Assignments involve the understanding of, and the application of departmental procedures, standard work, Global Trade processes / requirements and workflow activities. The Customer Account Coordinator works to ensure that deliverables are shipped and invoiced as required by Intertrade and customer commitments.
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Creation and oversight of sales orders against established requirements.
  • Facilitate & monitor exchange orders, warranty requests, credits, & purchase requests.
  • Processing additional administrative tasks relating to sale/credit of material.
  • Interact internally with sales, product line, repairs, finance, global trade and purchasing per the requirements of the position.
  • Communicate with customers both internal and external to transactional resolution.
  • Manage general sales support email inbox ensuring proper routing to sales support account owner.
  • Manage general sales support email inbox ensuring orders are processed as received and customers' requests are completed.
  • Ensure established Global Trade policies and requirements are adhered to for global exports.
  • Ensure established DOC / DOS license requirements are adhered to for global exports.
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of procedures and processes across all departments.
