Location: Houston, TX (IAH Airport) – 100% Onsite
Job Type: Contract | 3–6 Months | Contract-to-Hire Potential

Security Requirement: Must be able to obtain airport security clearance/badge

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized Site Administrator to support daily office, customer service, payroll, HR, and financial reporting operations within a fast-paced airport services environment at Houston IAH Airport George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

This is a critical onsite support role responsible for keeping site operations running smoothly through strong Excel reporting, payroll/timecard review, work order coordination, employee onboarding support, and customer communication.

The ideal candidate brings a strong administrative background with finance, payroll, HR, or bookkeeping experience, thrives in a deadline-driven setting, and is comfortable supporting both office and field operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily office operations in support of the Site Manager
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer and internal service inquiries
  • Coordinate service requests and track work orders in the maintenance management system
  • Support HR administration including onboarding, orientation, badging, and new hire paperwork
  • Review employee timecards, leave balances, and payroll data for discrepancies
  • Assist with billing, spending reports, and site financial tracking
  • Prepare Excel-based reports and maintain accurate operational records
  • Order office materials and supplies to support site operations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and training requirements
  • Support operations in both office and active airport environments as needed
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • 3–5+ years of administrative experience in:
    • payroll
    • accounting
    • bookkeeping
    • HR support
    • financial reporting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong overall computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Experience handling confidential payroll, employee, or financial data
  • Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance
  • Flexibility to support weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts when needed
Preferred Experience
  • Airport, aviation, or transportation operations support
  • Work order or maintenance management systems
  • Customer service in fast-paced service environments
  • Payroll auditing, timekeeping, or billing support
