TERNES Packaging Indiana, Inc.
Job Description
TERNES Indiana, Inc. is currently looking to fill an immediate Order Administrator position for our Indianapolis based manufacturing client Allison Transmission, Inc (ATI). This position will provide administrative support to ATI in their Global Parts Distribution Center (GPDC) located at 5902 Decatur Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46241. This position will be filled on a 9 month contracted basis, with continuation of the contract to be decided 30 days prior to the contract termination date.  
Scope of Work
TERNES Indiana, Inc. is a contracted service provider to ATI. In this position the TERNES Order Administrator will provide support to the ATI Sales and Service organization working closely with ATI OEM’s, and Distributors to provide timely order fulfillment. The main functions of this position include:
  • Run Various reports and update daily/monthly
  • Maintain and analyze on customer orders
  • Expediting material as needed through Global Supply Chain organization.
  • Detail oriented
  • Professional communication both verbally and written
  • Processing customer orders / upgrades / cancellations
  • Team Player

This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced and multi-task oriented work environment. Ideal candidate will need to be a quick learner, have reliable attendance, and ability to work as a team member or individually.

Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements
This is a fixed contract position that requires a high school diploma or GED. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of work experience in an office or administrative capacity. Skills required are typing, data entry, filing, and form completion. Programs used include SAP, Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word/Exel), and the Internet.
