Job Description:
About the Role:
We have an outstanding opportunity for an Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team at our Womelsdorf, PA facility, a manufacturer of quality confections. In this role, you will support the implementation and sustainment of the TreeHouse Management Operating Structure (TMOS) while working to improve supply chain processes and operational performance.
You will partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, efficiency, and overall plant operations.
You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
  • Support site leadership and process owners in implementing and sustaining TMOS, ensuring standard manufacturing processes are consistently applied
  • Act as a change agent and support resource while modeling behaviors aligned with TMOS
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance and support follow-up actions
  • Collaborate with continuous improvement leaders to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Support execution of continuous improvement projects to improve operational efficiency
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with replication of best practices across sites
  • Utilize site data to support project prioritization, scope, and execution planning
  • Support site-level initiatives and assist in driving process improvements
  • Assist in project review meetings by tracking progress and documenting results
  • Conduct analysis of product and information flow to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Support training and coaching efforts related to continuous improvement tools and methodologies
  • Contribute to plant-wide initiatives and operational strategies
  • Support additional tasks and duties as needed

Important Details:
  • This is a full-time, on-site role on First Shift, Monday through Friday. Occasional flexibility is required to support alternate shifts and weekends.

  • Bachelor's degree required; Operations, Management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies or project-based work
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and support change initiatives
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
