Job description

Sr Director, Operations Excellence
PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Sr Director, Operations Excellence to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at our location in Paulsboro, NJ.
The Operational Excellence role focuses on improving business processes, efficiency, and overall performance by implementing best practices and data-driven strategies. Professionals utilize continuous improvement frameworks to optimize and enhance productivity and strategic improvement initiatives across all refineries.
Responsibilities
  • Identify areas for operational improvement, develop roadmaps, and lead cross-functional teams to implement best practices
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to measure the effectiveness of new and track financial or productivity savings
  • Act as a change agent to drive the adoption of new workflows, platforms, and digital tools while ensuring company-wide buy-in
  • Foster a company culture of continuous improvement by training teams on problem-solving methodologies
  • Extract, consolidate, and analyze operational data from enterprise platforms to make informed decisions

Qualifications
  • 10+ years in operations, project management, or process engineering
  • Degree in engineering or relevant work experience
  • Proficiency with operational and reporting such as Power BI, Advanced Excel, ERPs and Dashboards
  • Exceptional communication, and the ability to influence cross-functional leaders without direct authority
  • Travel approximately 30%

The salary range for this position is $184,260.01 - $307,649.07. The compensation range listed in this posting is in compliance with applicable state law. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills and internal peer equity will be considered in determining the selected candidate's compensation. Salaries at the time of hire are typically in the lower to middle portion of the above range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect future performance-based increases. In addition to salary, PBF offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes bonus eligibility, health care, retirement benefits, and paid time off.
