Job description

Job Title: Beverage Excellence Coordinator

Reports To: Director of Beverage

Department: Concept & Standards

Status: Exempt

Date: February 2026

Salary:


Broad Functions: The Beverage Operations Excellence Coordinator supports consistent, high-performing bar operations across Areas USA airport restaurant and bar locations. This role focuses on operational excellence through hands-on training, field support, and process improvement in fast-paced, high-volume travel environments. The position partners with managers and bartenders to elevate efficiency, consistency, compliance, and the overall guest experience, while also providing support during new store openings as needed.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide hands-on training and operational support to management teams and bartenders across airport locations

2. Support all LTO roll outs and new beverage initiatives

3. Reinforce service standards, recipes, procedures, and best practices specific to airport and Areas standards

4. Support consistent execution of beverage operations in high-volume, time-sensitive environments

5. Provide beverage operations support during new store openings, including training and transition assistance

6. Gathering data to authenticate cost and profit of the Areas beverage program

7. Evaluate bar operations with a focus on speed of service, accuracy, consistency, and guest experience

8. Utilize Crunch-Time and Micros systems to support inventory controls and operational reporting

9. Partner with airport and unit leadership to identify opportunities for operational improvement

10. Travel to support airport locations nationwide


Skills and Qualifications:

1. Strong understanding of beverage operations, bar workflows, and service execution

2. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

3. Experience in airport environments and high-volume restaurant and bar operations

4. Strong communication skills and comfort training in fast-paced environments

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Crunch Time a plus

6. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to: stand for long periods of time, use hands and fingers, and be able to handle, feel, communicate verbally, and hear. The associate is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, taste and smell. The associate is also occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and either lift or move to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8hrs).
