Job description

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Provides secretarial and clerical services to the Pathologists and Laboratory leadership team and/or Anatomic Pathology section. Duties are performed under the supervision of a Laboratory Supervisor, AP Laboratory Manager and/or Laboratory Administrative Director/Site Laboratory Manager.                  

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Education/Required – High School graduate or equivalent

Experience – Type 50-60 WPM, computer experience, basic medical terminology and knowledge in Microsoft Office required.  2-3 years of related work experience preferred.  Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment required.
