Help Keep Our Operations Running Smoothly.

At Marketing Impact, great operations don't happen by chance-they happen because of strong organization, communication, and teamwork. We're looking for an organized, proactive Operations Assistant to provide administrative support to our Director of Operations and production team while helping keep our manufacturing operation running efficiently.

In this role, you'll work closely with teams across the business to coordinate production activities, track key operational metrics, prepare reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives. If you enjoy variety, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in keeping things organized, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As an Operations Assistant, you'll help keep our production team organized and informed by:

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Director of Operations and production team.
  • Coordinating schedules, organizing meetings, and managing correspondence.
  • Tracking production information, inventory levels, production schedules, and equipment maintenance records.
  • Monitoring Microsoft Power BI reports and assisting with production, quality, and operational performance reporting.
  • Coordinating with Purchasing, Shipping, Sales, Project Management, Quality, and Logistics to support production activities.
  • Preparing and distributing production documentation, including work orders, schedules, and safety-related information.
  • Maintaining organized filing systems and ensuring production records are accurate and accessible.
  • Preparing meeting materials, recording meeting minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to workplace safety and Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) activities.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and operational efficiency.

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Enjoys working with multiple teams and building positive working relationships.
  • Can effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Communicates professionally with both office staff and production team members.
  • Is proactive, resourceful, and enjoys finding ways to improve processes.
  • Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field is an asset.
  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, Microsoft Power BI, and other business software.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or production processes is considered an asset but is not required.

Why Join Marketing Impact?

At Marketing Impact, you'll be part of a collaborative team where your work directly supports the success of our operations. We value initiative, continuous improvement, and employees who are eager to learn and grow. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills, build cross-functional relationships, and make a meaningful contribution to a growing manufacturing business.

If you're looking for a role where organization, teamwork, and problem-solving make a real impact every day, we'd love to hear from you.
