Job description

EntSoc aims to build inclusive innovation by exposing students in all faculties to UWaterloo's entrepreneurial ecosystem while connecting them with the resources and opportunities they need to develop their ideas into successful ventures. As the Operations Director, you will have a variety of jobs assisting the VP Operations including, but not limited to: Assisting in the organization and execution of EntSoc's flagship events throughout the term (ex. Startup Showcase, Mixer, Startup Chats, etc.) Creating and reviewing event plans to ensure events run smoothly with the VP Operations Providing insight on areas of improvement within events to the VP of Operations Interacting with the UWaterloo student community to promote entrepreneurship In this position, time required will vary depending on what is happening within other areas of the club

It will require a 3 hour commitment per week (approximately). To be successful in this role, you will need: Strong interest in entrepreneurship To be available and willing to attend most EntSoc events (including bi-weekly SLC boothing) Attention to detail Organizational skills Time management Desire to improve Keen analytical and reasoning ability Strong communication skills
