Job Title: Tool Technician Assistant

Job Description

This position involves maintaining hydraulic riveting tools and diesel pumps used for installing solar tracking systems. The role includes partnering with an onsite mechanic as a helper and providing coverage when the mechanic is not present. Reliability and mechanical aptitude are crucial for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair hydraulic riveting tools and diesel pumps.
  • Partner with the onsite mechanic and provide support.
  • Issue and retrieve hand tools daily, ensuring they are cleaned and maintained.
  • Conduct routine service and inspections on equipment.
  • Identify faults and perform necessary repairs.
  • Adhere to company and worksite safety standards.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with construction and hand tools.
  • Mechanically inclined with a background in solar site operations.
  • Ability to conduct routine equipment service.
