Antitrust investigations and litigation-whether involving proposed mergers and acquisitions (M&A) or allegations of anticompetitive conduct-require clear, expert economic analysis. RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are currently seeking a Manager to join our growing team of economists, statisticians, accountants, and financial analysts. We apply our expertise to solve challenging problems - our projects involve high-stakes matters that provide an opportunity to work with prestigious law firms, government entities, Fortune 500 companies, and high-growth corporations in a dynamic, team-based organization.

  • Case Management
    • Lead one to three cases at a time
    • Manage teams of Associates
    • Organize case research and data analysis
    • Work closely with economists on a regular basis
  • Data Analysis
    • Work with complex databases and raw client data in Stata, R, and other programs
    • Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel and ArcGIS for graphical and statistical analysis
    • Analyze industry participants and characteristics affecting market competition
    • Calculate cost and damages estimates
  • Research
    • Consult with clients and private sources to obtain necessary data
    • Investigate industries and companies using online and government resources
    • Review litigation and case documents
    • Team Leadership
    • Mentor junior members of the team and contribute to the growth and development of the Antitrust team

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Law, Economics, Business, or Public Policy (e.g., JD, LLM, MBA MA, PhD preferred).
  • 4-6 years of experience in antitrust/competition law, either in a consulting firm, law firm, regulatory agency, or corporate advisory role.
  • Proven experience working on high-profile antitrust matters or economic analysis in merger and conduct cases.
  • Strong project management and client-facing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly to non-experts
  • Authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with economic modeling or familiarity with quantitative tools used in antitrust analysis.
  • Prior work in a regulatory body (e.g., FTC, DOJ, EC, CMA) is a plus.
  • Fluent in multiple languages (a plus for international clients).
