Job description

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a creative, poised, and sharp Business Development Specialist to join the busy marketing team at a top DC firm. The Specialist works closely with attorneys and marketing team to facilitate the firm's business development initiatives. This is an exciting role for a Marketing or Business Development Coordinator to learn the ins and outs of the industries they support while creating marketing and business development strategies to take the firm to the next level! If you have a solid 2 years of marketing experience and are looking to take the next step in your career with a collaborative team of professionals, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities Include:
  • Draft client pitches, presentations, and responses to RFPs
  • Track client development activities in the CRM
  • Collaborate with the events team to coordinate client events
  • Collaborate with practice group leaders and attorneys to develop business development and marketing plans
  • Draft marketing materials including website content, newsletters, web blogs, etc.
  • Assist with other marketing and business development projects and initiatives
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communications or related field
  • 2+ years of marketing experience in a law firm or other professional services firm
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage short term and long term deadlines
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Technical Skills:
    • MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
    • Salesforce experience
Compensation:
  • $88,000 - $115,000 annually

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
