Job description

I work closely with a V10 firm that has an unposted need for a mid/senior Antitrust Associate to join its Chambers ranked group in the New York office. The group represents clients across every major industry and maintains a full-scope practice encompassing merger clearance, litigation, and investigations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-7 years of antitrust experience, preferably from a big law firm or the DOJ/FTC
  • Some experience with merger reviews (i.e. someone with exclusively litigation experience won't be a fit but predominantly merger experience or bifurcated experience will be considered)
  • Excellent academic credentials

The group advises on some of the most complex, interesting deals on par with the best Antitrust groups in the world. New York is the hub of the practice and a global co-chair sits in New York. The team is staffed leanly with a lot of client and partner contact for associates, and opportunity for significant responsibility. There is substantial long-term upside for growth in this group, in addition to being highly collaborative and a collegial group, with a strong emphasis on associate development.

This firm offers top of the market compensation and no billable requirement.
