Job description

SPS is seeking a professional and customer-focused Mailroom Associate to support daily mailroom operations within a corporate client environment. This role is ideal for someone with previous mailroom experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting focused on service excellence, organization, and operational support.
This position will also be cross-trained in front of office, print/copy services, or similar office services to support broader business service center operations.
Main Functions:
  • Mail Processing and Distribution: The core responsibility is receiving, sorting, and delivering incoming mail and packages throughout the organization, as well as preparing outgoing mail for pickup by carriers such as United States Postal Service, FedEx, and UPS.
  • Shipping and Receiving Operations: Mailroom associates often manage all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring packages are accurately logged, stored, and routed.
  • Customer Service and Administrative Support: The mailroom serves as an internal service center, requiring strong customer service and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Support shipping, receiving, courier coordination, and package tracking activities
  • Operate mailroom equipment including postage, sorting, and inserting machines
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and client contacts
  • Maintain organized mailroom and business service center operations
  • Monitor and replenish office and mailroom supplies
  • Assist with document production, printing, scanning, binding, and other reprographics support services
  • Cross-train within business operations as business needs require

Qualifications:
