Bankers Trust Mailroom Clerk II

The Mailroom Clerk II will process the incoming and outgoing mail for the Bank and provide accurate, timely delivery of mail to employees. This position also receives direction from the Mail Services/Facilities Team Lead or Facilities & Property Management Officer on a daily basis as it relates to other Bank facilities projects and duties.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

  • Sorts and delivers incoming mail and packages
  • Operates postage machine to process outgoing mail
  • Assists with facilities duties and projects as assigned (i.e., set up for meetings and training sessions, meeting/communicating with vendors on construction/repairs and deliveries, moving furniture/boxes/equipment as part of remodeling projects)
  • Performs other duties as assigned and directed by the Mail Services/Facilities Team Lead & Property Management & Facilities Officer

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous mailroom and/or facilities experience preferred

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of postal and shipping regulations is helpful

Hiring Salary Range

The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Base Hourly Range: $17.75 - $20.50 plus annual bonus.
