Americas Mailbox is seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Mailroom Manager to lead one of the most important departments in our company.

As our Mailroom Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of a busy mailroom, ensuring mail sorting, processing, packaging, shipping, and distribution are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and leads by example.


What You'll Do:

As the Mailroom Manager, you'll play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly while creating a positive, productive work environment for your team.


Responsibilities include:


  • Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate the mailroom team to achieve daily production goals.
  • Oversee all mail sorting, processing, packaging, shipping, and distribution operations.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and quality control.
  • Train, mentor, and develop new and existing employees.
  • Monitor department productivity and identify opportunities to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Vehicle Registration, Scanning, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and special mail requests with professionalism.
  • Maintain inventory levels and oversee mailroom equipment and maintenance needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Assist with mailroom-related errands, including trips to the United States Post Office, UPS, FedEx, and other business-related locations.
  • Report workflow concerns, staffing needs, and operational recommendations to management.
  • Assist with department projects and support daily operations wherever needed.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.

  • Strong leadership, communication, delegation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience using inventory management or shipping/tracking software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active throughout the workday.

Monday-Friday

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM


Compensation

Starting at $42,000+ per year
