KSFL-Sioux Falls Live is a digital news operation in Sioux Falls, SD, delivering content across TV, web, and streaming platforms. The operation produces local news, weather, sports, and regional stories, while also covering community stories and live events such as high school sports. Essential Functions

  • Place/stack bundled mail on pallets.
  • Operate electric floor jack to move skids.
  • Feed strapping, plastic wrap, and bottom wrap machines.
  • Assist in staging mailroom equipment before production runs.
  • Load various feed stations; occasionally hand feed.
  • Palletize products as they run off the machines.
  • Occasionally responsible for housekeeping duties.ย 
  • Abide by all OSHA regulations and the lockout/tagout program, as well as other established company safety policies.ย 
  • Maintain prompt and reliable attendance.


Qualifications

  • Mechanical skills and computer knowledge are preferred.ย 
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.ย ย 
  • Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to other employees of the organization.ย

  • Physically able to operate machinery.ย 
  • Frequent exposure to vibration, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock.ย 
  • Works in a printing plant environment. Work with moving machinery and hazardous materials such as inks and solvents. Exposure to loud noises and moving mechanical parts.
