Mailroom Clerk

We are seeking a Mailroom Clerk for the Purchasing and Ancillary Services Department. This role provides outstanding customer service while supporting Mailroom and Purchasing Operations for Credit Human. Key responsibilities include receiving and delivering correspondence, supplies, and overnight deliveries; maintaining mailing supplies and inventoried stock; coordinating and tracking service calls; facilitating routine printed item purchases; following applicable US Postal Service regulations; maintaining accurate records; supporting a safe work environment; and staying vigilant about mailroom and vehicle security.

  • Support a secure and organized operation by maintaining inventory, records, postage accounts, mailing supplies, and equipment readiness.
  • Partner with business units by assisting with shipping portals, couriers, supply deliveries, and mailroom equipment needs.
  • Help maintain service quality and compliance by following USPS and applicable regulatory requirements while promoting a safe work environment.

Experience:

  • Prior Mail Room Experience

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Some Continuing Education

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Valid Texas Driver's License
  • State of Texas minimum vehicle insurance coverage
  • No moving violations in the past 3 years
  • Favorable driving record for the past 7 years

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Basic Math skills proficiency.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • General PC knowledge, to include Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to lift/carry at least 40 pounds
  • Inventory tracking
  • Inventory systems familiarity
  • Knowledge of postal regulations

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-5:00 pm, rotating start times

Level of Work: 1B
