What is a mailroom helper?

Mailroom Helpers are staff members who assist with the sorting, distribution, and delivery of incoming and outgoing mail within an organization. Their responsibilities often include organizing packages, managing interoffice mail, and ensuring that correspondence reaches the correct recipients in a timely manner. They may also be responsible for maintaining mailroom equipment and supplies, as well as assisting with shipping and receiving tasks. Mailroom Helpers play a crucial role in the smooth operation of an organization's communication and logistics systems.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a mailroom helper?

To thrive as a Mailroom Helper, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift and move packages, often requiring a high school diploma or equivalent.
