Mailroom Clerk - JLL
What this job involves:
As a Mailroom Clerk at JLL, you'll serve as a vital link in our daily operations by managing the seamless flow of mail, packages, and supplies across the organization. This role ensures that critical correspondence reaches the right people at the right time while maintaining efficient mailroom operations. You'll support our workplace services team by handling everything from sorting incoming mail to coordinating outbound shipments, managing office supplies, and providing logistical support for events and trainings. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of our workplace environment and overall business operations.
What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Sort, collate, and distribute incoming mail while disposing of junk mail and resolving issues with incorrect or returned correspondence
  • Process outgoing mail by weighing items, applying correct postage using postage meters, and arranging pickups for various carriers including FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS
  • Record registered mail, fold and insert documents into envelopes, and organize mail into proper buckets and metal bins for departmental distribution
  • Physically transport mail bins to designated departments throughout the facility (may require lifting up to 50 pounds)
  • Order and manage office, café, and janitorial supplies to ensure adequate inventory levels
  • Assist the Facilities Coordinator with room setups for corporate events, meetings, and training sessions
  • Handle returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders, and payments efficiently to maintain workflow continuity

Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Previous mailroom or mail handling experience
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the workday
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
  • Reliable and punctual with proven ability to work independently
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with various departments and vendors

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic computer skills for tracking shipments and maintaining records
  • Customer service orientation when interacting with internal clients

Location: Englewood, CO
Work Shift: 2nd Shift
This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Estimated compensation for this position:
37,440.00 - 46,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
