Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mailroom Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily mailroom operations at our headquarters. This position is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail, handling shipping and receiving activities, and delivering packages throughout the main headquarters. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Prepare and process outgoing mail and shipments using approved shipping carriers.
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying deliveries and maintaining shipment records.
  • Deliver mail, packages, and office supplies throughout the main headquarters.
  • Load, unload, and move packages and materials as needed.
  • Operate mailroom equipment, including postage meters, scanners, copiers, and label printers.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Monitor and maintain mailroom supplies and inventory.
  • Keep the mailroom organized, clean, and secure.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service to employees and visitors.
  • Follow company policies and safety procedures.
  • Perform other mailroom and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a mailroom, shipping and receiving, warehouse, or office support role is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Ability to move mail bins, carts, and packages safely and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, or other shipping carriers.
  • Experience using shipping software or mailroom management systems.
  • Customer service experience in a professional office environment.

"The pay range for this position is $19.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
