Inbound Mailroom Team Lead

Onsite in Lexington, KY

$17.00 per hour, which may be below your state’s minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-clean desk

About the Inbound Mailroom Team Lead Role

Conduent is looking for an Inbound Mailroom Team Lead that thrives working in a fast-paced production environment with a willingness to learn and ability to oversee and manage a team of up to 40 people.

The Inbound Mailroom Team handles a large volume of claims each day that need to be sorted, scanned, and processed. As an Inbound Mailroom Team Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the team and work closely with the employees. You will assist with managing workload, ensuring targets are met in a timely fashion and assist the team in troubleshooting any issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of inbound mailroom
  • Responsible for processing of specialized PO boxes
  • Oversee and manage team attendance/absences
  • Maintain order in the workroom
  • Be ready to work hands on to meet deadlines
  • Assist with hiring new team members
  • Driving company vehicle if needed
  • Responsible for other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Proficient computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED 
  • Must pass a background check
  • Able to lift up to 40lbs 
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $17 an hour.
