Job Title: Mail Services Supervisor
Job Description
The Mail Services Supervisor oversees all aspects of mailroom operations for a building or campus. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of mail, supports office and conference room functions, and maintains essential office supplies. The position runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is an on-site role in Austin. It is a 2-month assignment providing coverage for an employee on leave, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise day-to-day mailroom operations for a building or campus, ensuring services run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Handle mail processing, including printing, sorting, and stuffing of mail in accordance with established procedures.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely distribution and collection of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Set up and reset conference rooms, ensuring they are properly arranged and equipped for meetings.
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies, maintaining appropriate inventory levels and coordinating restocking as needed.
  • Provide customer service to internal stakeholders, responding promptly to mailroom and office service requests.
  • Ensure adherence to mailroom policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support office and mailroom operations as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to resolve issues related to mail services and office support.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe mailroom and office services area.
Essential Skills
  • At least 2 years of experience in mailroom, office services, or a related operational support role.
