The Digital Mailroom Technician is responsible for the timely receipt, processing, digitization, quality review, and electronic distribution of incoming Credit Union mail and documents. This role serves as a critical link between physical mail operations and digital business processes by ensuring member and business correspondence is accurately scanned, indexed, classified, and routed to the appropriate departments.

The Digital Mailroom Technician performs daily mail collection, mailroom operations, document preparation, scanning, quality assurance, and workflow monitoring activities while maintaining strict confidentiality and regulatory compliance standards. This position provides exceptional internal customer service through timely responses, issue resolution, and proactive communication
and supports the Credit Union's digital transformation initiatives by ensuring efficient and accurate electronic document delivery.


Required Skills & Experience  

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • One year of customer service experience required.
  • Valid Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Windows-based applications.
  • Ability to learn document management, imaging, workflow, and scanning systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members and business partners.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of scanning equipment, computers, and document processing systems.
  • Ability to sort, organize, lift, and transport mail trays, document boxes, and packages up to 25 pounds with or without assistance.
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout mailroom and office environments.

Work Environment

  • This position is an in office role. Reports to Grow Property Administration Division in New Tampa, FL.
  • Collaborative team environment.
  • Regular travel between Credit Union locations and local postal facilities as required.
