Job Summary:

The LMS Content Assistant works closely with the Director of Staff Development to develop, organize, and maintain engaging training and professional development content within the company’s Learning Management System (LMS). This position supports the creation of clear, visually appealing, and effective learning materials for employees across the organization.


The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills. Experience or education in training, education, marketing, communications, graphic design, journalism, or LMS content development is beneficial.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop visually engaging and professional PowerPoint presentations for employee training, professional development, and company meetings.
  • Transform complex or technical information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand training content.
  • Assist with writing, editing, proofreading, and formatting training materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Upload, organize, maintain, and update training content within the Learning Management System.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Staff Development and subject matter experts to develop effective and accurate training materials.
  • Review and update existing training content to ensure information remains current, relevant, and consistent with company standards.
  • Incorporate multimedia elements, including graphics, images, videos, and interactive components, to enhance learner engagement.
  • Maintain consistent formatting, branding, tone, and visual standards across training materials.
  • Assist with additional staff development, training, and LMS-related projects as needed.
  • Create and edit video content for training, professional development, and internal communications.

Education/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • College coursework or a degree in Graphic Design, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in education, training, marketing, communications, content development, or LMS administration preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with the ability to create professional and visually engaging presentations.
  • Strong written communication and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) or other content-development tools is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with DaVinci Resolve is a plus but not required.
