We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to join our team. The Senior LMS Administrator will play a key role in managing and optimizing the organization's LMS to support effective learning and development initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing administration of the LMS.
Responsibilities
LMS Administration
- Oversee the daily operations of the Cornerstone LMS, including user management, content uploads, and system configurations.
- Configure and customize the LMS to meet organizational needs, including user roles, permissions, and system integrations.
Content Management
- Manage the creation, organization, and maintenance of training content within the LMS.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and content developers to ensure seamless integration of courses and materials.
- Implement version control and archival processes for learning content.
Reporting and Analytics
- Generate and analyze reports to track user progress, completion rates, and other relevant metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to optimize training programs and enhance the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
User Training and Support
- Develop and deliver training programs for LMS users, administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Act as a primary point of contact for LMS-related inquiries, providing timely and effective support to users.
System Optimization
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate the LMS with other systems and tools, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Stay current with industry best practices and trends in learning technology to identify opportunities for system improvements.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to implement enhancements, updates, and new features within the LMS.
Compliance and Security
- Ensure that the LMS complies with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard sensitive training data.
Vendor Management
- Collaborate with LMS vendors to address technical issues, updates, and system enhancements.
- Evaluate and recommend new features or upgrades that align with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Education Technology, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience
- Proven experience as an LMS Administrator, with a certification/focus on Cornerstone LMS.
- Experience with system integrations and API usage.
- Project management skills for LMS-related initiatives.
- Strong understanding of learning and development principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SCORM and other e-learning standards.
- Relevant certifications in LMS administration are a plus
