The Manager, Digital Learning Operations plays a key role in the success of ASHP's online education ecosystem by combining operational leadership, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration. Working closely with internal teams, external partners, and technology vendors, the role ensures that digital learning experiences are delivered efficiently and accurately. The position serves as a trusted resource for learning technologies, data insights, and process optimization while helping shape the future of ASHP's educational offerings. This is a hybrid position that requires candidates to live in the Washington, DC area and be present in the downtown Bethesda, Maryland office as needed. At ASHP, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach.  The salary range for this position is $85,000-$95,000 and ASHP offers a comprehensive benefits plan. This salary range represents a reasonable estimate of the annual salary based on ASHP's commitment to provide equitable and market-competitive pay. What You'll Be Doing
  • Interacts with others to facilitate the execution of ASHP's online educational programming.
  • Serves on LMS customer support team (via email and phone).
  • Responsible for building and running report requests, utilizing both Personify and LMS databases as sources.
  • Provides monthly statistic updates on all eLearning products, broken down by team and product line.
  • Manages the quality assurance processes for all eLearning initiatives.
  • Manages national meeting setup, including meeting creation and session entries in the LMS, and session entries in Personify Transcripts.
  • Manages ongoing maintenance of website pages, including creation of pages and organization of overall site structure.
  • Serves as resource for all aspects of the integration between the LMS and Personify, including advising on new initiatives.
  • Advises on development and delivery of new technologies through various platforms and content authoring systems.
  • Advises with creation and structuring of online courses in the LMS.
  • Manages digital continuing education application.
  • Interacts with LMS vendors, accrediting bodies, or content partners to troubleshoot issues.
  • Travel is anticipated to be in the range 1 to 3 times per year and will be domestic to ASHP's conferences.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to ASHP
  • Requires a minimum of a degree plus a working knowledge of the theories and principles of a relevant field or discipline in online content management.
  • 5 or more years' of experience in learning technology or LMS administration.
  • MySQL or other code writing experience a plus.
  • Experience working with an AMS; Personify experience a plus.
  • Experience working with online content building tools.
  • Working knowledge of HTML required; more advanced knowledge and knowledge of other coding languages a plus.
  • Ability to serve on cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff to ensure ongoing productive relationships.
  • Ability to manage many projects, tasks, and deadlines at once.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Thrives in a high-production, fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of authoring tools such as Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of LMS's, their User Interfaces, and their application programming interface (API) integrations.
  • Ability to travel 1 to 3 times per year domestically to attend ASHP's conferences.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Video editing experience a plus but not required
  • Pharmacy education experience a plus but not required.
