Pay: up to /hr (k) depending on experience
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
In-office requirements: 2-3 days per week per the Food and Beverage Client Hybrid Work Arrangement
Location: One Porsche Drive Atlanta GA 30354
Status: Exempt (please make sure your candidates know this role is exempt from OT)
Position Overview:
Manage national warranty litigation. Serve as corporate representative in a variety of legal matters, including trials, mediations, arbitration hearings and depositions. Research, analyze, and evaluate evidence for lawsuits, manage warranty counsel throughout the United States, and negotiate settlements.
Roles & responsibilities
Primary responsibilities:
Manage large portfolio of warranty litigation, including working with outside counsel through the length of the case, aiding in reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery responses, helping develop effective defense strategies, and negotiating with opposing counsel.
Ability to aggregate cost data to create cost effective strategies for litigation management.
Collaborate with Porsche dealerships to complete final repair attempts, obtain necessary information and documentation to evaluate and resolve breach of warranty matters
Represent Food and Beverage Client in litigation: in court, mediation, depositions and trials throughout the United States
Qualifications
Education:
JD from an accredited law school, Barred in at least one state
Experience:
5+ of litigation experience, preferably in warranty matters
Skills:
Substantive legal knowledge and understanding of warranty and lemon laws
Ability to handle case from start to finish, including managing strategy
Proficient in legal research
Self-starter and a team player
